Huawei and its sub-brand Honor already announced the EMUI 10 Beta plan for its devices back in September. Now, it seems the company has finally done with the beta program and started rolling out the stable EMUI 10 update for its flagship smartphones. First, it was Huawei Mate 20, P30, Honor 20 series devices that received the update just last week and now a new smartphone joins the party. We are talking about the Huawei Nova 5T.

Yes, Huawei Nova 5T is receiving the stable Android 10-based EMUI 10 update. It is happening globally, including Europe, East Asia, and the Middle East region.

The EMUI 10 update for Huawei Nova 5T brings the build version 10.0.0.168(C636E3R1P1) and is about 4.52GB in size. It is rolling out for users on both EMUI 9.1 stable ROM as well as beta testers. If you haven’t received the update notification yet, then go to Settings > System > Software update > Check for updates. These steps will automatically search for new software updates. Moreover, users can also take the help of the HiCare app to request EMUI 10 updates.

Huawei P10 series was officially launched in early 2017, these phones came pre-installed with EMUI 5.1 (Android 7) then received EMUI 8.1 (Android 8), and later EMUI 9.1 (Android 9).

With a total of two major Android updates, Huawei P10 series remained on EMUI 9.1 and didn’t make it up to the EMUI 10. To take care of the existing Huawei P10 owners, Huawei is now sending a new update for this 3-year-old Leica camera flagship.

This new update for Huawei P10 series brings smart features such as Huawei Assitant and Smart Charge, which helps to reduce battery aging. The software package also installs May 2020 security patches.

Since the Huawei P10 series is not a part of the monthly or quarterly update section, this update size is 4GB, which is similar to the EMUI 10 OTA.
